The black box on the production floor hinders most food manufacturers from having full visibility and control of their quality, compliance, and production processes. Research showed that manufacturers still rely on paper or spreadsheets when it comes to quality and production management during the manufacturing process. Digitisation offers an increase in productivity and reduction of waste and business risks.

 

Shakeel is a Food Scientist with extensive expertise in food safety and compliance, having worked in Australia, Singapore and Hongkong. He holds a bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry and a master’s degree in food science. Shakeel is passionate about helping to reduce the industry’s wastage and to improve food safety and quality in New Zealand.
